Text Box: DO Collect all of the pieces including even the smallest particles. Carefully gather by hand isolating each piece. Do not sweep up pieces.
DO NOT handle the broken edges in order to avoid imparting soil or natural oils found in our skin.
DO NOT attempt to assemble the pieces. Bringing the break edges together may result in loss of material and create further damage.
 DO wrap each piece separately  piece in acid free tissue paper. Place tiny fragments in independent  self sealing poly bags.
DO NOT Label individual ceramic pieces with tape, markers, crayons or any other media. Leave identification and assembly to your restorer

No matter how careful we are, accidents do happen. However serious the damage may appear to be, all is not lost. An experienced restoration studio such as The Porcelain Clinic has the ability to repair the object, conceal the damage and restore its aesthetic appeal. It goes without saying, that this type of specialty service can be costly based on the level of treatment that one might choose.
