Porcelain Restoration . . . . . . is it art or science?
An Endangered Species!
In our increasingly conservation  minded society, even small children can rattle off a list of what’s endangered.  The Black Rhino, Blue Cranes, the ozone Layer, and now - - - - Granny’s Flow Blue Platter!
Gone are the days where restorers stuck Wedgwood vases together with egg whites, resins or rivets, and then turned their clumsy repairs to face the wall.

Today’s restoration ethics extend to collections of ceramic object art  which is considered worthy of  preservation with our future generations in mind. Yes, Future, generations is the key. A quality restoration needs to withstand the test of time.
Studio 2000 The Porcelain Clinic focuses on quality restoration that will withstand the test of time. Proper restoration of an heirloom can be completely invisible, yet must be totally reversible. One must take into consideration the possibility of future products and methods that may become available; therefore reversibility is a critical and an ethical factor of proper restoration.  Quality European restoration is now available in the United States.
